The Pointer Pulse Laser is an all-in-one unit that combines pulsed laser therapy with electrical stimulation, allowing both methods of treatment to be used simultaneously. With its ergonomic design and single grounding plate, this device can easily be used with either the left or right hand. Electrical stimulation is initiated with a push button, while stimulation intensity is controlled with a dial. The 650 nm, 5 mW Pointer Pulse laser is controlled by a toggle switch where you can select from three modes: on (continuous laser beam), pulsed (10 Hz pulsed laser beam) and off (no laser beam). 1 year warranty. Q. Can these units be used by anyone for great results?
A. No, you must have the proper training to use these units in order to achieve good results. The instruction manuals that come with these units are very limited, limited meaning is it tells you how to operate the unit, repair or replace battery, make adjustments to the unit settings. It does not tell you how to treat any ailments.
Q. What is the Milli-Amp and Micro-Amp?
A. Micro-Amp is a very small wave that can treat and stimulate without being felt by the patient.
Milli-Amp is similar but the patient can feel the treatment.
Q. What is the expected lifetime of the Pointer Plus / Pointer Excel?
A. With regular use, the normal life is anywhere from 3 to 5 years. The 9-volt battery can be replaced periodically to make sure the unit runs efficiently.
